Like the Luvisi Ranch Napa Valley, Dolinsek Ranch Russian River Valley are Old Vines also. With 3 microclimates through the vineyard, the grapes that come off this ranch are very special, both in hard work and achieving the high quality within the vineyard. This wine is Explosive! The concentration on this wine is so rich that it is hard to believe how well the wine is in balance with fruit, oak, alcohol and acid. I must tell you after months of tasting this wine in barrel, I kept shaking my head and saying, how could this wine be better than my fabulous 2002 vintage, but it's much better and will last longer in your cellars, like great Bordeaux, and the Super Tuscans wines. I could give you my sensory evaluation on this wine, but I would run out of adjectives. You won't be disappointed in this wine or my Luvisi Ranch. ENJOY!! As always, I suggest you decant all the MARA Zin's so your first glass tastes like your last. |
